A VENUE RICH IN HISTORY

Located in Glasgow’s City Centre, just off the city's main Buchanan Street, 200 Conference & Events is a stunningly beautiful, historic venue, which creates the perfect backdrop for every event. Formerly the North British & Mercantile Building. Built in 1929 by Sir John James Burnet with Norman A Dick it has three striking statues embedded into the front wall who are said to be St.Andrew with this boat and the Seafarer and Seafarer's Wife.

St Vincent Street runs westwards from George Square until it meets Argyle Street in the city’s West End. St. Vincent Street was named to commemorate the victory of Sir John Jervis, on 15 February 1797, off Cape Saint Vincent.[1] The Street crosses Glasgow’s main shopping street, Buchanan Street just west of George Square. Further west it also crosses the M8.

Some of the notable buildings on the street are the St Vincent Street Church and the National Commercial Bank
